Leonardo D’Urso, mediator in international organisations
Leonardo D’Urso is CEO and co-founder of ADR Center. Since 1998, he has resolved more than 800 national and international complex civil and commercial mediations, including numerous employment mediations. With almost 20 years of full-time work in the field of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), he is responsible for the management of ADR Center’s activities, the opening of nearly 30 Resolution Centers in Italy and the creation of ODR Center, an innovative cloud platform developed to manage the mediation process especially adaptable to specific contexts such as workplace environments.
Furthermore, he has been a senior expert in different international projects on ADR in Europe, Africa, Asia and Central America. In particular, he has been one of the leading experts in the two-year successful project for the creation of the first mediation center for commercial dispute in Kabul, Afghanistan, and has recently been nominated Senior ADR Expert in a project that aims to strengthen access to justice in the Republic of Serbia.
He has been lecturing on Negotiation Techniques and ADR – including Workplace Conflict-Related Mediations – at a number of Universities, Chambers of Commerce, Public Organizations and multinational corporations and is also author of several publications on negotiation and mediation. Leonardo works in Italian and English.
